Move a Student to Another Class
As a teacher, you can move a student between your classes.
Important
Students can't be moved to another teacher account on Wix Tomorrow Classroom, or switched between Wix Tomorrow Classroom and Wix.com. Contact us if this is what you are looking for.
Find Your Student's Profile
To manage a student profile visit your My Classes dashboard.
Hover over the class and then click Manage Class.
You’ll be taken to your student list. From here, click Manage next to the profile details of the student you want to manage:
Move to Another Class
- In the Manage Student Profile modal, find the Move to Another Class button and click it.
- Choose the class you want to move the student to and click Move.
- Once the move is complete, you'll see a success message and the student will be part of their new class.
Sites and Permissions
When a student is moved to another class:
- They do not need to set up their account again.
- Sites created by the student will be moved to the new class.
- Their permission to publish will be changed to match the settings on the new class.
- The student will see the activities assigned to the new class the next time they login / refresh.
Moving a Student with Error
To move a student that had an error in their invite status, first delete them from the first class, and add them again to the new class.
